Crispy Tostadas
I’ve had tostadas on a regular basis since I was a little girl. They are a Mexican dish that are perfect for any occasion, such an easy meal to make and one that tastes great. Another good thing about tostadas is that they are very inexpensive to make with very few ingredients. In this post I will show you how to make two variations of a traditional Tostada.
Serves 1
Tostada #1
Ingredients:
-Tortilla
-Beans
-Avocado
-Salt & Pepper
Method:
1.Heat up the tortilla on a pan for a few minutes until they become a bit hard and crunchy.
2.Heat up and mash beans with a fork.
3.Open and dice the avocado.
4.Assemble the tostada by spreading the beans and adding the avocado.
5.Drizzle with salt and pepper.
Tostada #2
Ingredients:
-Tortilla
-Beans
-Avocado
-Salt & Pepper
-Ghee
-Egg
Method:
1.Heat up the tortilla on a pan for a few minutes until they become a bit hard and crunchy. 2.Heat up and mash beans with a fork.
3.Open and dice the avocado.
4.Heat up the ghee in a skillet and cook a sunny side up egg.
5.Assemble the tostada by spreading the beans, avocado and place the egg on top.
6.Drizzle with salt and pepper.
