4 Healthy No Bake Desserts
Delicious and healthy no bake desserts, that you can eat every day! They’re made from whole foods that are super nutritious, with no added sugar and perfect for satiating your sweet tooth.
Serves 3
Cranberry Orange Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup of dates
1/4 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil
3/4 cup of almond flour
1/2 cup oat flakes
1 serving of vanilla protein
Zest of 1 orange
1/4 cup cranberries
Method:
- Place the dates in a food processor and process very well.
- Once it’s done add the peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Process all ingredients until they are all blended.
- Transfer the mixture into a bowl and add the almond flour, oats, protein, zest and cranberries.
- Mix very well.
- Form balls with the dough and place them on a tray with a silicone mat or wax paper, flatten your cookies down.
- Refrigerate the cookies for 20-30 minutes to harden.
Brownies
Ingredients:
1 cup of dates
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup of walnuts
Frosting Ingredients:
1 avocado
5 dates
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 pinch of vanilla
Method:
- In a food processor add the dates, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt and mix everything very well.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl. - Put the walnuts in the processor until it’s a crumbly texture, then add the chocolate mixture back in and process it together.
- In a tray with a silicone mat press down the mixture to form a large rectangle.
- Put the tray in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to harden.
- Take out the tray, spread the frosting on top and decorate with walnuts.
- Return the tray to the refrigerator for another 20 minutes so that it hardens very well.
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
The chocolate frosting makes all the difference in these brownies. It’s delicious, healthy, and super easy to make!
Banana-berry Ice Cream
Ingredients:
2 frozen bananas
1 cup frozen berries
5 dates (soaked)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
Chocolate chips
Method:
- In the Namawell extractor (or blender) add the fruit, alternate between banana, berries and dates.
- Transfer the ice cream to a bowl and sweeten with vanilla, salt and chocolate chips.
- Mix very well and put in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
- Take it out and enjoy!
Lemon Turmeric Balls
Ingredients:
3/4 cup of cashews
3/4 of oat flakes
1 cup of grated coconut
1/4 cup of honey
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 grated lemons
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
Method:
- In a food processor put the cashew nuts and process until it has a crumbly texture.
- Add the oats and process until it’s mixed with the walnuts.
- Add the grated coconut and process again.
- To sweeten, add the honey, coconut oil, lemon juice, lemon zest and turmeric. Process very well.
- Shape the balls with your hands and put them on a tray with a silicone mat. Put the tray in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to harden.
I’m not a person who eats sweets often, but I love these no bake dessert recipes! Aside from the fact that they taste delicious and I don’t have to turn on the oven to make them, they are super healthy. You can make several servings and they will last you for the whole week.
