5 Low-carb Recipes (Keto-friendly)
Serves 1
Grilled Salmon
Ingredients:
1 tbsp, Butter
1 Salmon Fillet
Dash, Sea salt
3 tbsp, Olive oil
2 tbsp, Lemon juice
1 tbsp, Mustard
1 1/2 tsp, Ginger
1/2 Cucumber diced
1/2 cup, Cilantro
1/2 cup, Mint
Method:
- In a pan add butter and let it melt, then place the salmon and sprinkle sea salt to taste. Cook for 6 minutes then flip to cook on the other side.
- In a bowl add the olive oil, lemon juice, mustard and ginger and whisk it together. Then add the diced cucumber, cilantro and mint and mix.
- In a plate place the salmon and serve the cucumber salad on top.
Zucchini Noodle Salad
Ingredients:
3 pc, Zucchini
1 tbsp, Butter
1/4 cup, Peanut butter
2 tbsp, Soy sauce
2 tsp, Ginger
1 minced, Garlic
2 tbsp, Water
Dash of Cayenne
1/2 cup, Purple cabbage
Method:
- Make the zucchini noodles with the spiralizer.
- Whisk together the butter, peanut butter, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, water and cayenne.
- Mix the noodles with the peanut sauce and then add the purple cabbage.
- Serve and enjoy!
Spinach Salad
Ingredients:
1 Chicken Breast
6 tbsp, Mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp, Lemon juice
2 tsp, Water
1 Minced Garlic
Salt, to taste
2 tbsp, Green onions
Salt and pepper, To taste
1/2 Avocado
3 tbsp, Chopped parsley
Method:
- In pot boil 1 cup of water and cook the chicken for around 15 minutes.
- In a blender add the mayo, lemon, water, garlic and salt and mix really well.
- In a bowl place a bed of spinach, add 2 tbsp of the dressing and mix really well. Then add the shredded chicken, avocado and parsley.
Beef Stir Fry
Ingredients:
1 Beef Fillet
1 tbsp, Butter
3 tbsp, Soy sauce
1 garlic clove
Dash of Ginger
1 cup, Mushrooms
Red pepper flakes, To taste
1 cup, Spinach
Method:
- Cut the fillet into strips, place in a bowl, add soy sauce and leave to marinate for 5 minutes. In a pan add butter, let it melt and cook the fillet for around 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from pan.
- In the same pan add the garlic, mushrooms, ginger and red pepper flakes, after 30 seconds add the spinach and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Add the beef back into in and mix everything together, heat for a minute and then serve.
Cauliflower Purée
Ingredients:
1/2 Cauliflower
2 tbsp, Butter
1 minced Garlic
Salt, To taste
Bunch of Parsley
Method:
- In a pot add water and bring to a boil, add the cauliflower. Once it’s cooked, put it in the blender and add the butter garlic and salt. Mix really well.
- Serve on a plate and top it off with parsley.
