Party & Food in Mexico City
First of all, let me just say a huge THANK YOU to you guys for making my time in Mexico City so amazing! It was wonderful to get to spend time with friends, make new ones, and meet some of YOU, my amazing Rawvana family! Thank you too for the absolutely beautiful and thoughtful gifts.
Check out the video to see some of the fun events and workshops at the RawvanaFam Party! I’ll also show you what I ate at some amazing vegan restaurants in Mexico City. Seriously, some of the dishes were like works of art on a plate.
Before we get into talking about food in depth, I just want to take a moment to say thank you for making the RawvanaFam Party such a success! I held this party to celebrate the launch of my eBook and reaching 1 million followers on Spanish YouTube channel! It was a great event where I got to connect with so many wonderful, like-minded people in an atmosphere that fostered nurturing the mind, body, and spirit.
I’m also super grateful to several of the vegan restaurants I went to (as you’ll read about through this post) taking part in the event. If you were there, I hope you enjoyed their yummy food!
And now, onto my culinary adventures. I started off in the kitchen of Mora Mora. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Mexico City, so I was thrilled to get to create a recipe for their menu!
Next, I ate at Forever Vegano with some friends including Neto the Raw Boy, who you may remember from my video about what we ate in San Diego!
Right now, I’m doing a raw challenge, so I had a delicious raw salad for dinner at Vegan Planet. Guys, you seriously have to check this place out if you’re ever in Mexico City. So, so good!
I also ate at La Pitahaya Vegana (raw tacos!) and Vegan Inc (vegan ceviches!). Watch the video for details on those spots.
You have to check out the incredible Vegan Ville and ELK Bistro! There’s a restaurant, but also a store, and a space for classes and workshops. In the video, I’ll show you around this place and introduce you to its founder, Diego.
My last meal in Mexico City was right before boarding the plane. I had some trail mix from Earth Co Organics and a couple of yummy granadillas.
As you can see, there are tons of vegan options in Mexico City! I loved everywhere I ate, and can’t wait to get back to try even more vegan offerings. The food was incredibly vibrant, just like so many of the people I connected with and met while I was there.
If you want to see a little more of what I did in Mexico City (like going to the pyramids!), check out the video. And if you have any favorite vegan restaurants or dishes in Mexico City, let me and the rest of the Rawvana family know in the comments! And again, thanks to all of you for helping me reach 1 million followers on my Spanish YouTube channel, and for making the celebratory party such a success!
Love you guys!
