Craving Junk Food? Drink This!
It happens to everyone sometimes: you’re doing a great job of consistently eating healthful, vibrant foods, but suddenly you start feeling anxious and craving junk foods. Instead of indulging, try drinking this amazing tea instead! It will help you reduce those cravings and stay on track.

The tea I want to teach you to make today is super simple! In addition to water, it has just three ingredients:
- Ginger reduces muscle tension and can relieve stress. It also helps with digestion!
- Mint helps you ward off colds and sickness, and also contributes to a sense of relaxation.
- Cinnamon is delicious! It can fill those cravings for sweetness, while reducing the sugar in your blood.
Instructions:
Boil 4 cups of water. Add 1/4 cup of thick, peeled ginger slices, 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves, and two cinnamon sticks.
Simmer for around 25 minutes. Strain into your favorite mug and enjoy the fantastic combination of flavors.
Tip:
If you want it sweeter, add stevia!
This yummy tea will help you ease the anxiety that leads you to crave junk foods, but it’s important that you dig down to the root of what’s causing that anxiety in the first place. For example, you might have junk food cravings when you’re actually feeling hungry, angry, lonely, tired, or stressed.
Instead of giving into your cravings, try treating yourself to a refreshing and healthy activity like meditation, going on a walk, or listening to your favorite music. (And, of course, drink this tea!) You also need to sleep well. Not getting enough sleep can reduce your leptin, the hormone that signals your body that you’re full.
Love you,
Yovana
