Easy Plant Based Cherry Desserts

All these cherry desserts are plant based, healthy and very easy to make. Cherries are a delicious superfood with essential vitamins and minerals that our bodies need. So, if you love cherries you are in the right place!

Serves 1

Cherry Crisp

Ingredients:
2 cups, Cherries
1/2 Lemon juice
2 tbsp, Monk fruit
4 tbsp, Oats
4 tbsp, Almond flour
1 tbsp, Coconut oil
2 tbsp, Pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp, Chopped walnuts
1 tbsp, Monk fruit

Homemade Whipped Cream (optional)
1/4 cup Coconut cream
Vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven at 375F.
  2. In a ceramic or glass pan add the cherries, the monk fruit and lemon juice mix very well.
  3. In a separate bowl add the oats, almond flour, coconut oil, pumpkin seeds, walnuts and monk fruit and mix with your hands, until it has a crumbly consistency but still sticks to your fingers.
  4. Place the crisp mixture on top of the cherries and put in the oven for around 20-25 minutes. Until the top part becomes a crust.
  5. Wait for 10-15 for it to cool down.
  6. In a bowl with a hand mixer whip the cream with the vainilla extract.
  7. Serve on top of the crisp and enjoy!

Cherry Sorbet

Ingredients:
4 cups, Cherries
1/2 Lemon juice
2 tbsp, Monk fruit

Instructions:

  1. Put all the ingredients in the blender and mix.
  2. Transfer the sorbet to a container and freeze for about 2 hours.
  3. Serve and enjoy!

Cherry Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup, Frozen cherries
1/4 cup, Almond milk
1 tbsp, Almond butter
1 frozen, Banana
Handful of Spinach and kale
Grated coconut (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender, mix very well. Top off with the coconut and enjoy!

Chocolate Covered Cherries

Ingredients:
Cherries
Greek Yogurt
Dark Chocolate

Instructions:

  1. Place a toothpick on each cherry.
  2. Cover with greek yogurt and freeze.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate and cover all the cherries and freeze again.
  4. Take them out, enjoy!
