One-Day Raw Vegan Detox
Are you ready to lose weight?! If so, I challenge you to go raw vegan for just one day! I know that might sound hard, but I think it’ll be easier than you expect. During this one-day raw vegan detox, you can eat in abundance!
Serves 1
Breakfast: Protein Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 banana
1 tablespoon peanut or almond butter
1 cup almond milk
1 cup spinach
1 scoop Vivo Life Protein Powder
Method:
Put all the ingredients in a blender along with 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth, and enjoy!
Tip: if this isn’t enough, add one or two more bananas!
Snack: an apple
Lunch: Mexican Chopped Salad
Ingredients:
4 leaves of chopped romaine lettuce
1 tomato
1/4 purple onion
1 avocado
1/4 cup corn
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 lemon (optional)
Method:
Chop the romaine lettuce into thin strips. Dice the tomato. Slice the onion and avocado into strips.
Arrange the lettuce on a plate. Top with the tomato, onion, corn, and avocado.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and optionally drizzle with lemon juice.
Snack: a banana
Dinner: Zucchini Pasta
Ingredients:
1 zucchini
1 to 2 carrots
1 cup of spinach
Dressing:
juice of 1 lemon
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon cashew butter (or tahini)
cumin powder to taste
garlic powder to taste
Method:
Spiralize the zucchini (or use a peeler or mandoline to create noodles). Shred the carrot(s). Chop the spinach. Mix together in a large plate or bowl.
Thoroughly mix all of the dressing ingredients together. Drizzle over the salad, mix again, and enjoy!
