Two Homemade Face Masks
Papaya Skin Mask
Blend 1 papaya until it reaches a smooth, sauce-like consistency. Add 1 tablespoon maple syrup and the juice of 1/2 lemon, and stir well.
Apply the mixture to your face and leave on for 20 minutes. (Meanwhile, you can snack on the leftovers, if you want! Yes, really!)
Wash the mask off with cool water. Doesn’t your skin feel amazing?!
Strawberry Skin Mask
With a fork, mash five medium-sized ripe strawberries. Add 1/4 cup brown sugar and the juice of 1/2 lemon, and stir well.
Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 20 minutes. You’ll probably notice that it’s feeling sticky (and also smelling amazing). Don’t worry, that’s normal!
Rinse the mask off your face with cool water. Your skin will feel exfoliated, supple, and fresh!
Also, if you were surprised by how easy it was to make these amazing masks, you’ll love learning how to make other homemade plant-based products like deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and so on! Would you be interested in turning this post into a full series where I teach you how to make these other products? If so, let me know!
Love you!
