Whenever I purchase a natural beauty product, I take a look at the ingredient list. It turned out that I already had many of the ingredients in my kitchen! Then I thought to myself that if eating fruits and veggies has a great positive impact on my skin, putting them ON my skin could be even better for it! Well, I did some deep research online, and came up with some DIY face masks packed with the most beneficial ingredients. Let me tell you, they will leave your skin feeling WONDERFUL! Here are two masks that will help cleanse and detoxify your skin!

For breakouts or congested skin
Blueberries smooth the skin, prevent fine lines and wrinkles, eliminate scars, increase elasticity, fight against blemishes and acne, balance levels of oil in the skin, and help even out skin tone.

1/2 cup blueberries
2 tbsp coconut yogurt
Handful of raw almonds, chopped
Juice of ½ lemon
Method:
Blend all ingredients, spread over face and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse clean.
2. Coconut Turmeric Face Mask
Turmeric has antioxidant properties that help fight free-radical damage and pave the path to flawless skin. It’s also very effective in treating acne, removing scars and reducing wrinkles and dark circles. It has antibacterial property that helps kill P. acnes bacteria, which cause acne.

1 tbsp coconut yogurt
1 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tsp maple syrup
Method:
Mix all ingredients, spread over face and leave on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse clean.
